Hey there crafty people!
I hope you all are well & keeping safe.
This is Crafter Anu & today i bring you another beautiful card.
I wanted to create something elegant & ethnic Indian so this is what i came up with.
Let's have a look at it.

For this card i combined supplies from 2 of my favorite craft brands.
One is amazing paper grace (spellbinders) & other one is dress my craft.

This card is so Indian in all beautiful terms, the elegance, the colors, the traditional designs/patterns,
the greeting in hindi language (hardik abhinandan) & lastly the flowers.
It took me hours to decide on the elements for this card but it was all worth it.

So let's hop onto the tutorial now!

To start with i took a cardstock (english rose) measuring 4 x 6 3/8 inches for the base
Then using the outline die i die cut on a piece of cardstock (off-white) measuring 3 7/8 x 6 1/4 inches

Die cut this elegant curled grace oval frame on gold mirror cardstock

I took this beautiful pattern paper from dress my craft - Indian elegance paper pack,
trimmed it down to 3 3/4 x 6 1/8 inches & die cut this window in the center.

Die cut big oval on off white cardstock & this tiny ribbon holding die
(i don't know if it's called that) on gold mirror cardstock

Lastly i die cut this sentiment on english rose color cardstock & gold mirror cardstock
Adhere the gold one beneath a little off-set to give a shadow look.

So this is all about the prep work now just arrange all together to make it into a card.
Start with the base solid color cardstocks then pattern paper, after that add solid outline frame on top of it adhere the elegant gold frame.
Add another window pattern paper die cut on it, on top of that add oval shape die cut using dimensional tape. Finally add the sentiment.

To add more beauty to it i decided to arrange some handmade flowers that i created on the oval die cut.
Beneath that i added some gold wire as well for more interest.

SUPPLY LIST

2. Indian elegance pattern paper pack - dress my craft
3. Indian greetings die set - dress my craft
4. English rose cardstock
5. Off white cardstock
6. Gold mirror cardstock
That's all from me today ! I hope you liked my card.

Hey there people! I hope you all are doing well.
This is crafter anu.
It's been long since i have posted a tutorial here & today is the day.
So i recently got my hands on this beautiful die set from amazing paper grace that i have been wanting to create with since long.
But before i show you that let me first show you what i created with the same.

This is CURLED GRACE OVAL DIE SET from amazing paper grace (spellbinders)
This is one beautiful die set with such elegant design.
This die set contains 6 dies in total and these are:

I get this die set from crafters corner india you can get this direct from spellbinders or amazon is one option as well.

Now coming back to my project.
when i received this in mail i was so excited & full of ideas i couldn't decide which one to go for first, so after giving it a lot of thought i thought lets go for something simple first.
So i decided on an idea to team this die up with any of my floral stamps.
Because stamping & coloring is something I love & I have to try it with this beautiful die set.

So i started by stamping a beautiful magnolia & colored it up using my watercolors.
Coloring sure is a long process & you have to be very patient throughout to get good results.
If i talk about myself its a meditation for me.

Okay so after this I went to die cutting the base.
I used the big solid frame die to cut on a script pattern paper.
Then i die cut the curled grace oval on crimson red cardstock.
Remember you need to stack these 3 together (solid frame+elegant frame+inner window)

Also die cut small oval on off white cardstock.

To put this together I first adhered the main frame on to the base with dimensional tape.
Then the oval in the center & magnolia on the side with dimensional tape.
To the oval i added die cut sentiment "sending hugs" you could also use a stamp.

Lastly i added some golden enamel dots for added interest.
Isn't it so simple to put together?? I am sure it is :)

That's all from me today ! I hope you liked my card.

Add foam tape around the circle window then add craftyscrappers sequins
valentine ___ in it and then stick it on a kraft color note card.

Hey there crafty souls :)
I am Anu and here I am with our MASTER CRAFTER
MANU GUPTA
bringing a beautiful inspiration for our magical challenge.

Let's hear from her now :

Hello Everyone!
I’m super elated to be back and I have a project inspiration for all of you!!
The project I’m sharing is something that I truly loved making and is very apt with the
theme for the Craft Chaos theme this year. This time the theme is ‘Something Magical’
and I was flooded with the thoughts about the unicorns, fairies and all the other dreamy
characters that represents everything Magical.

However, I interpreted the theme to be equivalent to a "Mother’s LOVE" and there is
nothing ever truly and remotely more magical than a Mother’s LOVE. For me, a
Mother’s love is pure magic and very divine.
So I kept this in mind and made a 3D panorama of my interpretation. This is a 3D card
which when lays flat opens up into this magical structure which is all dreamy and full of
love and warmth.

Lets check the pictures and I hope you will love this little creation of mine.

Thank you so much for taking time out to visit the blog and
I hope you liked the 3D pop up card.
Thank you ‘Handmade Love’ for having me here and
I’m elated to have participated in this lovely event.

Follow me on my Facebook/Instagram/YouTube and do leave me some love
and let me know what do you think about this 3D card.
Happy Crafting!

Hey there crafty souls !
This is Anu :)
Today I was feeling magical so I thought why not create something?
Then I quickly went for my tools & stuff before my mind changes :D
I crafted for an hour or so and the outcome was nothing but magic.

So without any further delay let me show you the project :)

MAGICAL UNICORN CARD

 Steps in making :

I printed the unicorn image & colored it with my pencils & fussy cut it.I took a kraft color base measuring 4.5x6 inches.
I cut 6 strips of white cardstock with 1 inch width & color them all with watercolors.
Then I arranged the strips on the card base diagonally & cut the edges falling outside the card base.

I also splattered some white paint on the colored strips of paper.
I printed the sentiment on a vellum sheet & added few stars with gold embossing powder.

At last I added the unicorn image to the card.
To finish off add the base to a off white note card.

So this was my project guys :)
I hope you liked it if yes do comment below :)

Until then see you & happy crafting :)

  • Then die cut using the coordinating dies.
  • For the background scene, I used Clouds for Days stencil to sponge pastel distress oxide inks to create sky and grass.
  • I adhered the die cuts to make a scene.
  • I stamped the sentiment also from the stamp set on a strip of cardstock and adhered as shown.
  • To make it more magical I added two strips of gold glitter cardstock on top and bottom.
  • Finally to finish off I added a few drops of Nuvo white crystal drops.

 SUPPLIES USED:
1. Neenah Solar White cardstock.
2.Gold Glitter cardstock
