Crafter Anu

Hey there crafty people!
I hope you all are well & keeping safe.
This is Crafter Anu & today i bring you another beautiful card.
I wanted to create something elegant & ethnic Indian so this is what i came up with.
Let's have a look at it.

For this card i combined supplies from 2 of my favorite craft brands.
One is amazing paper grace (spellbinders) & other one is dress my craft.

This card is so Indian in all beautiful terms, the elegance, the colors, the traditional designs/patterns,
the greeting in hindi language (hardik abhinandan) & lastly the flowers.
It took me hours to decide on the elements for this card but it was all worth it.

So let's hop onto the tutorial now!

To start with i took a cardstock (english rose) measuring 4 x 6 3/8 inches for the base
Then using the outline die i die cut on a piece of cardstock (off-white) measuring 3 7/8 x 6 1/4 inches

Die cut this elegant curled grace oval frame on gold mirror cardstock

I took this beautiful pattern paper from dress my craft - Indian elegance paper pack,
trimmed it down to 3 3/4 x 6 1/8 inches & die cut this window in the center.

Die cut big oval on off white cardstock & this tiny ribbon holding die
(i don't know if it's called that) on gold mirror cardstock

Lastly i die cut this sentiment on english rose color cardstock & gold mirror cardstock
Adhere the gold one beneath a little off-set to give a shadow look.

So this is all about the prep work now just arrange all together to make it into a card.
Start with the base solid color cardstocks then pattern paper, after that add solid outline frame on top of it adhere the elegant gold frame.
Add another window pattern paper die cut on it, on top of that add oval shape die cut using dimensional tape. Finally add the sentiment.

To add more beauty to it i decided to arrange some handmade flowers that i created on the oval die cut.
Beneath that i added some gold wire as well for more interest.

Hello crafty people 🙂
I'm Anu and today I have a fun card to share.
The card is inspired from Jennifer Mcguire ink.

Let's have a look

I kept the front simple !
Here I have used CRAFTYSCRAPPERS
"be kind, be you" stamp set.

I stamped the single flowers & colored them
using water colors. There you can see 3 different
shades of pink.

Did you see this wood texture I created it
using TUBBY CRAFT dye inks.

I made two layers in shadow box & them added
The flowers & leaves with glue.
It is necessary to keep it flat so that it close properly.

I added embossed sentiments both inside & outside.
And that's how this card is done ☺️

Hope you guys like it.
Let me know in the comments.
Until then happy crafting ☺️❤️

Hello Crafty People 🙂
I hope you guys doing great.
So today I'm here to share a super simple yet gorgeous project
to share with you all. I have tried embossing for the first time & honestly
I'm very much impressed with the results.

Let's have a look at this beauty 😻

TO MAKE THIS CARD FOLLOW THE STEPS:

STEP 1
Start with stamping the floral design (I used CRAFTYSCRAPPERS
"be kind be you" stamp set) using VERSA MARK watermark ink.
Then sprinkle some RANGER white embossing powder on the image &
use LITTLE BIRDIE CRAFTS embossing heat gun over it.

I fussy cut the image already because then it will be easy to color it.

STEP 2
Now it's time to color it. yayy my favourite part of cardmaking.

Add more water in the areas where you need light color.

I used only 3 colors here GREEN, PINK & YELLOW

here's the close up of the flower hope it helps in coloring.

STEP 3
To complete the card I took a white card base & simply adhere
this stamped image using foam tapes.

& stick the base card to a black note card.
At last I heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set &
place it on top of the stamped image.
And it's DONE!

Have a look at these close ups.

I hope you liked this project.
if so do let me know in the comments below 🙂

See You & Happy Crafting 🙂

CHALLENGE #25 FLORALS & TEXTURES

September 23, 2018 2 comments
Hey there ! It's Anu :)
Today I have pretty floral card to share.
I made this inspiration project for TUBBY CRAFT.

To make this card I used tubby craft "floral & swirls"
stamp set. I stamped the flowers with light pink ink
on watercolor paper & then colored it using watercolors.
Stamp & color the leaves in the same way.

The tricky part lies in the arrangement.
It's tough but not impossible!

I add this sentiment from the same stamp set.
That little yellow flower is love 😍

Close up of flowers to show you the coloring pattern.
It's super easy just go from bottom to up start with dark
color and then dilute it with water as you go upwards.

That's all for now :)
