CRAFT CHAOS 2019 - GAYATRI MURALI'S INSPIRATION PROJECT

by - April 11, 2019

Hey there crafty souls!
I am Anu and here I am with our MASTER CRAFTER
GAYATRI MURALI
to share a beautiful inspiration for our MAGICAL challenge.
Let's hear from her now :
Hello everyone,
This is Gayatri Murali.  Anu, email me about her Craft Chaos Challenge,
she conducts every year and asking me if I like to collaborate with her?
I said of course! Why wouldn't you, right?
My roots are Indian and I always love to work with any opportunity that comes my way from India.
So here I am sharing my project for Anu's Craft Chaos Challenge 2019
with Something Magical as the theme.

The word magical always takes me to a magical place with fairies,
toadstools, gnomes and toadstool houses and beautiful colorful sky.
So that is what I created here with my project.

STEPS TO MAKE THIS PROJECT:
  • I used Simon Says Stamp's Secret Garden stamp set here.
  • I stamped and colored several images from the stamp set using copic markers.
  • Then die cut using the coordinating dies.
  • For the background scene, I used Clouds for Days stencil to sponge pastel distress oxide inks to create sky and grass.
  • I adhered the die cuts to make a scene.
  • I stamped the sentiment also from the stamp set on a strip of cardstock and adhered as shown.
  • To make it more magical I added two strips of gold glitter cardstock on top and bottom.
  • Finally to finish off I added a few drops of Nuvo white crystal drops.
