Crafter Anu

Hey there crafty people!
I hope you all are well & keeping safe.
This is Crafter Anu & today i bring you another beautiful card.
I wanted to create something elegant & ethnic Indian so this is what i came up with.
Let's have a look at it.

For this card i combined supplies from 2 of my favorite craft brands.
One is amazing paper grace (spellbinders) & other one is dress my craft.

This card is so Indian in all beautiful terms, the elegance, the colors, the traditional designs/patterns,
the greeting in hindi language (hardik abhinandan) & lastly the flowers.
It took me hours to decide on the elements for this card but it was all worth it.

So let's hop onto the tutorial now!

To start with i took a cardstock (english rose) measuring 4 x 6 3/8 inches for the base
Then using the outline die i die cut on a piece of cardstock (off-white) measuring 3 7/8 x 6 1/4 inches

Die cut this elegant curled grace oval frame on gold mirror cardstock

I took this beautiful pattern paper from dress my craft - Indian elegance paper pack,
trimmed it down to 3 3/4 x 6 1/8 inches & die cut this window in the center.

Die cut big oval on off white cardstock & this tiny ribbon holding die
(i don't know if it's called that) on gold mirror cardstock

Lastly i die cut this sentiment on english rose color cardstock & gold mirror cardstock
Adhere the gold one beneath a little off-set to give a shadow look.

So this is all about the prep work now just arrange all together to make it into a card.
Start with the base solid color cardstocks then pattern paper, after that add solid outline frame on top of it adhere the elegant gold frame.
Add another window pattern paper die cut on it, on top of that add oval shape die cut using dimensional tape. Finally add the sentiment.

To add more beauty to it i decided to arrange some handmade flowers that i created on the oval die cut.
Beneath that i added some gold wire as well for more interest.

Hey there people! I hope you all are doing well.
This is crafter anu.
It's been long since i have posted a tutorial here & today is the day.
So i recently got my hands on this beautiful die set from amazing paper grace that i have been wanting to create with since long.
But before i show you that let me first show you what i created with the same.

This is CURLED GRACE OVAL DIE SET from amazing paper grace (spellbinders)
This is one beautiful die set with such elegant design.
This die set contains 6 dies in total and these are:

I get this die set from crafters corner india you can get this direct from spellbinders or amazon is one option as well.

Now coming back to my project.
when i received this in mail i was so excited & full of ideas i couldn't decide which one to go for first, so after giving it a lot of thought i thought lets go for something simple first.
So i decided on an idea to team this die up with any of my floral stamps.
Because stamping & coloring is something I love & I have to try it with this beautiful die set.

So i started by stamping a beautiful magnolia & colored it up using my watercolors.
Coloring sure is a long process & you have to be very patient throughout to get good results.
If i talk about myself its a meditation for me.

Okay so after this I went to die cutting the base.
I used the big solid frame die to cut on a script pattern paper.
Then i die cut the curled grace oval on crimson red cardstock.
Remember you need to stack these 3 together (solid frame+elegant frame+inner window)

Also die cut small oval on off white cardstock.

To put this together I first adhered the main frame on to the base with dimensional tape.
Then the oval in the center & magnolia on the side with dimensional tape.
To the oval i added die cut sentiment "sending hugs" you could also use a stamp.

Lastly i added some golden enamel dots for added interest.
Isn't it so simple to put together?? I am sure it is :)
